Manila, Philippines — Filipino builders demonstrated how Web3 infrastructure can solve practical payment challenges as Sniffy, an AI-powered solution for autonomous AI payments, secured the grand championship at the Build In! Payments Hackathon.
The multi-week hackathon challenged developers to create real-world payment applications powered by emerging Web3 technologies.
Sniffy enables AI agents to autonomously pay for and access App Store Optimization (ASO) data, making ASO research a seamless component of agentic workflows. Instead of manually checking dashboards, founders and product teams can rely on AI agents to access insights that help improve application visibility on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The competition was organized by Morph, together with Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth initiative and DvCode Technologies Inc., bringing together developers to build across five payment-focused tracks: Cross-Border Remittance, SME Payments, Payroll/B2B, FX Treasury, and x402 Agentic Payments.
Winning entries showcased a wide range of blockchain-powered payment innovations. Mandate402 won the x402 Agentic Payments category, while Centrus Sovereign earned top honors in Cross-Border Remittance. Ember captured the SME Payments award, PayMemo won Payroll/B2B, Agent Mesh received the Community Choice Award, and Echo claimed the Blockchain4Youth Award.
Collectively, the projects reflected the growing maturity of the Philippine Web3 ecosystem and demonstrated how blockchain developers are creating practical financial applications with real-world utility.
Participants competed for a 3,500 USDC prize pool before presenting their projects during the awarding ceremony at YSpaces BGC in Taguig City.
The program also introduced participants to Morph’s growing ecosystem, giving developers the opportunity to learn about its technology, community initiatives, and opportunities for builders to contribute to its expanding payments network.

Participants also heard from Eli Rabadon, CEO of DvCode Technologies Inc. and author of Programming4Youth: Code Like a Cook, who encouraged builders to embrace experimentation, adaptability, and creative problem-solving throughout their development journey.
