Taiwan Expo 2026 Heads Back to Manila With Solutions for the Future of City Living

Delegates and industry representatives gather at the Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion at Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines, showcasing Taiwan’s growing expertise and collaboration in healthcare innovation.

Manila, Philippines — From smarter home essentials to wellness must-haves, Taiwan Expo is set to fill the SMX Convention Center with hundreds of products designed to make Filipino daily life easier. The expo returns to Manila from 17 to 19 September, welcoming more than 125 Taiwanese exhibitors across categories that touch practically every part of a Filipino household — technology, sustainability, agriculture, healthcare, and lifestyle.

Shoppers and homeowners will find plenty to explore at the Premium Lifestyle Pavilion, where exhibitors are showcasing rPET recycled fabric bags, electric vehicle safety blankets, micrometer towels, memory storage devices, smart wine aerators, and precision bathroom fixtures — most of which are looking for Philippine distributor and retail partners.

Wellness-conscious visitors won’t be left out either. The Beauty & Wellness Pavilion pairs biotech skincare with medical-grade essentials, featuring functional bio-electro devices, anti-counterfeiting packaging technology for cosmetics and medicine, and a full range of sterile surgical supplies and medical dressings.

This year’s expo builds on a strong 2025 run that generated $53.4 million in business opportunities and drew more than 10,000 buyers. Taiwanese enterprises are exhibiting under a “National Team” banner organized by the Taiwan International Trade Administration (TITA) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).

“Fifty-three million dollars in business opportunities showed us how much appetite there is in this market,” said James C. F. Huang, Chairman of TAITRA. “This year we want to build on that through joint ventures, licensing, and local assembly, so Taiwanese and Philippine companies are building together rather than simply trading. Our measure of success is how many of these connections are still producing value for both sides five years from now.”

Beyond lifestyle finds, the expo also spotlights bigger-picture innovations, including battery energy storage systems and hydrogen microgrids at the Green & Innovation Showcase, alongside AIoT and cybersecurity solutions at the Intelligent Technology Pavilion and farm-to-table offerings like Phalaenopsis orchids and high-mountain teas at the Agritech & Food Pavilion.

Taiwan Expo 2026 runs at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, bringing together exhibitions, seminars, cultural showcases, and B2B activities organized by Taiwan’s International Trade Administration under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and implemented by TAITRA.
